Ideal for smaller gatherings, our Golden Norfolk Turkey Crowns make the perfect roast dinner. Our Crowns offer just breast meat for those that prefer white meat only, and are an easy to carve option. > British Turkey > 100% Breast Meat no waste > Easy to carve > Serves 6 - 10 Defrost Instructions:- Defrost your turkey thoroughly on a tray in a fridge (no more than 4°C) allowing 10 to 12 hours per kg. Once defrosted remove the packaging (retain the label on the front of the bag), giblets and neck. Check that there are no ice crystals in the body cavity and that the legs are flexible before cooking. Once thawed do not refreeze. Once defrosted keep refrigerated and consume within two days. How to cook Oven cook From Defrost Remove all packaging, including absorbent pad, place in a roasting tin. Retain the weight label on the front of the bag for exact cooking time. Place turkey in a roasting tin and allow to stand at room temperature for an hour before cooking. Cover turkey loosely with lightly greased foil. Cook turkey in a preheated oven, removing the foil after 45 minutes. Remove from oven, cover with foil and rest for 10 minutes before carving. Preheat oven to: 190°C/170°C Fan/Gas Mark 5 Weight (kg): Less than 4kg, Approximate Cook Time: 20 minutes per kg + 70 minutes Weight (kg): Greater than 4kg, Approximate Cook Time: 20 minutes per kg + 90 minutes Check that the turkey crown is cooked by piercing the thickest part of the crown with a skewer. When the turkey is cooked the juices should run clear. Please note all appliances vary, these are guidelines only.
